The Family of Valor
Family Policies
The following are the current policies of The Family of Valor on certain matters. These policies are subject to change, should Fastallia believe it to be in the best interest of the family, and the correct course to take. As family, your opinions matter greatly to Fastallia. Should you care to discuss any of these policies with her, or propose new ones, speak with her in game or email her at: fastallia@hotmail.com.The Original Code - "Help others, THEN yourself"Our family was formed to help others, to keep those who were new to the world from falling prey to the lesser elements of the lands and to bring order to the chaos in the land of wonder known as Dereth.
You were to place the needs of others before your own. You were to lend assistance to all who asked, if it was within your power to do so. If you couldn't help, you were to do your best to find someone who could. This assistance was to be freely given without recompense or obligation of any kind on the part of the one to whom the assistance was rendered.
An exception to the Code was those who had proven to be abusers of our assistance, those that were obviously shameless beggars too lazy to go out and do their own adventuring, thieves and bad traders.
Keep in mind - the help given may not have been what the person was asking for, but rather what they NEEDED. Our goal was not to make people dependent upon assistance, but rather to help them in times of actual need. The Current Code - "In all things, be honorable"
In all of your dealings with others, Family or otherwise, behave in a manner that will bring honor to yourself and the Family.
What We Expect From Our Members:- Adherence to the Code - The Code is our heart and soul... it is who we are. It MUST be followed.
- Loyalty - to the Family of Valor.
- Respect - For others in the game, and especially for others in the family.
What We Would Like to See From Our Members:- A willingness to participate - to engage with other family members. Whether you are just talking, questing, helping or being helped, be active.
- Understand that Real Life is ALWAYS more important. You won't be given grief over RL interfering with your play time, so don't give it to others.
- And above all else -- HAVE FUN! (This is a game, after all!)
What You Can Expect From the Family:- Loyalty - At all times. If you have a need, simply ask. We will endeavor to bring it about.
- Resources- We will help provide for your monetary and material needs, as well as knowledge of the world of Azeroth and how to survive/prosper there.
